Mr Train

We took Mason and mackie to the train in Bartlesville. I know that does not sound like a big deal to many but for Mason it was AMAZING ! He LOVES trains !! Every train he sees is an adventure. This one is pretty special because you can sit in the conductors chair and play on it and climb..Mason LOVED it..Mackie..well..she tolerated it ! Poppy and ZsaZsa..we love anything we can do with those babies !!

We have been gone for a really looooong time ! Dallas..NewBraunfels..Scottsdale..Phoenix..(twice)..This is a busy travel time for Greg so we are on the go a lOT ! THe 4th of July was SO special this year because Bill and Ree and Kristi, Curt, Chloe and Trinity came to visit. Eventhough they stayed at Buddies house, we got to see them several times and the visit was sweet ! One of those great days was taking family pics..SO fun ! Here are a few ...

Shopping for Masons Birthday gift !

Poppy and I have been SO sick ! More sick than we have ever been ! What we had is commonly known as "the Crud"..coughing..not being able to breathe..overall yucky !

Yesterday I needed to get out a little. Masons b'day is on Saturday and with Poppys busy schedule and being sick we had not yet begun the search for the "perfect" gift. So..I ventured out and met Kara and Mason and Mackie at Taco Bueno. THe BEST medicine I have had EVER is when I opened the door and there was Mackie and Mason waiting for me . HUGE smile on Mackies face and Mason is running towards me saying "ZsaZsa" over and over..then he lept into my arms and hugged me ! I LOVED IT !

After lunch we went to "Toys is us" and started weeding out the different things Mason may enjoy for his b'day. Poppy and I really want to get him a car..a toy car. THe one I wanted was not there so today I will go to several other stores to see if they possibly have what we are looking for.

I can't wait till his birthday ! It makes me think of that wonderful day we were in the delivery room and watched Mason come into this world. A little guy full of hope and love and healing. He was and is to this day one of the most precious parts of our lives. We are blessed to be his Poppy and ZsaZsa !

Our Sweet birthday boy !

We have had a TON of snow ! I mean a LOT..a little ice ..it means we have been here at home a few days without hope of getting out. That is only bad when I do not get to see the g-babies ! I have missed them..talked to Mason a couple of times on the phone..but I really miss seeing those gorgeous faces !

Maybe THIS week I can see them..wish me luck !

My nephew, and the band he is in..did an interview on CMT this weekend. They were SO cute but then I am a little partial ! The Randy Rogers Band has come so far and will be going even further ! Great going, guys !

Sorry I have been absent from this blog for a few days ! Busy busy lately ! Last weekend we had BOTH grandkids for the night ! We had SO much fun playing and talking and watching silly things on t.v.! Mason has learned that ELF (the movie) is funny and thinks the burping scene is the best ever. He loves it so much that he immitates it throughout the visit ! SO funny ! We bought a new pac and play for Mackie..she loved it and was happy to sleep when it was time..woke up twice, but I think it was because she wanted ZsaZsa to pick her up . The minute I did she would immediately go back to sleep..lil stinker ! Mason LOVES to sleep between Poppy and ZsaZsa and plays "hide" with Poppy.

I love my G-kids and feel like I am the most blest of women ! THe kids came over Monday so Kara could go to the doctor. I used to be able to go with ehr..and I am sure she misses that...but it's more difficult with two extra little ones ! So..I made lunch and Poppy came home for lunch to be with us ! He is the BEST ! We played and played till Mackie passed out from exhaustion and Mason wanted to sleep in ZsaZsa and Poppys bed ! Kara came to pick them up just as Mackie woke up ! Great timing , Kara ! Saw a great picture of Peyton..he was smiling SO big in the ultrasound pic ! Can't wait to meet you lil man !

I look forward to this weekend...hopefully get to see my babies ! LOVE YOU MASON AND MACKIE !!!

POPPY

This is Poppy and Mason...we were in Houston for Thanksmas and Greg wanted Mason to see the school that Masons Mommy attended when we lived there. In fact ..somewhere in the dark recesses of my closet are pictures of both Kara and Megan sitting on this very turtle! Greg LOVES to introduce Mason to new and exciting things...he LOVES this child and will always have such a special relationship with him.

This is Poppy and Mackenzie ! They really LOVE each other...he has a way with her ! Mackie will be the spoiled one..why ? Because she will be the middle child who will be the only girl..and because Poppy has a way with girls ! After all he had two of them ! He LOVES her and will always be there for her !

MACKENZIE

This is Mackie ! She is precious and SO fun ! Mackie came into this world as Mackenzie Gayle but is called Mackie..Kenzie..sissy..SO cute ! Mackie came one month early..I am guessing this is because she couldn't wait to get here ! Mackie has the sweetest personality..she smiles quickly and gets SO tickled when her big brother comes around. She is totally in LOVE with her Mommy and Daddy..in fact she is TOTALLY crazy about her Mommy ! If Kara leaves the room Mackie gets upset. As long as she can see someone she is fine..if she is left alone..she is not too happy . One of the best things is to watch Mackie as she watches Mason..she ADORES him ! My hopes and prayers for Mackie are much like my hopes and prayers for Mason..simple. That she love the Lord with all her heart..soul and mind ! That she is an obedient..loving..kind young woman whose whole desire is to serve the Lord ! That someday she will meet the man of her dreams and that he will also love the Lord and follow HIM. I love you Mackie !

MASON

This is our precious Mason..he will be three the end of February . It's hard to believe how quickly time has past ! He is such a joy and the sweetest little heart you will ever meet. He is our first blessing ! The best part ? He LOVES his ZsaZsa and Poppy and we love him ! He loves to come over and go night night ..he asks to do that several times a week. When he is here..it's ALL about Mason..we play..we watch "Cars"..and we just talk..about everything. He is hilarious ! When something goes wrong for him..his first response is.."Daddy did it!" Poor Cody...not even here and he gets the blame ! I am excited to see what happens as Mason grows up..my hopes and prayers for him are simple..For him to know the Lord with his whole heart ! For him to have a hunger and thirst after righteousness..for him to have a relationship with the Lord that defines who he is and who he will become. For this we will continue to pray !
